I was shocked to hear about Bruce. He lived down the street from my family when we lived on Encinal. I'll never forget the time he gave me a Melvin on my front porch when we were in the Seventh grade. He gave me such a good one that my underwear must have stretched to my head. Needless to say, they were garbage after that! lol! He was a nice guy. He also worked at Wal_Mart D.C. when I worked there, but not in my area of the warehouse. I think my husband knew him pretty well when we we all worked there at that time.
I remember going to school with Bruce at Jackson Heights, Bidwell, Vista and all the way up through graduation from high school. I have all good memories of him as well as few "crazy" ones. I'm sorry things turned out the way they did.
Bruce was always fun and crazy! My favorite memories were in the fourth grade in Mr. Anderson's class playing around the world. We were all so competitive with those darn multiplication tables! Bruce will be missed!
