Clint Andreasen - Class Of 1986

CLINTON "CLINT" BRIAN ANDREASEN May 23, 1968 ~ May 15, 2017 Clinton "Clint" Brian Andreasen passed away on May 15, 2017 surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness. He was 48 years old. Clint was born in Sacramento, California on May 23, 1968 to Clinton W. and the late Melinda Andreasen. The family moved to Red Bluff in 1978. Clint attended Antelope Elementary School and Berrendos Middle School where he was on the basketball team. In high school Clint played football until he suffered a knee injury. He graduated from Red Bluff High School in 1986. After graduation, Clint began working at Sierra Pacific in Richfield and later transferred to the Red Bluff plant. He married Lisa Warner in 1992 and during their marriage they had two children, Lynne (24) and Brian (20). Clint left Sierra Pacific due to injury and after recovering from four surgeries, he started his own auto detailing business. Later he went to work part time at Department of Water Resources in Red Bluff while attending Shasta College. He earned an A.A. Degree and became employed full time at Vestra Resources in Redding. He later obtained a job at Bella Vista Water District where he worked until he became ill in 2015. Clint enjoyed the outdoors and loved hiking, camping, skiing, spending time with his family and friends, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Clint maintained his spirit, wit, and sense of humor until his passing. Clint was predeceased by his mother, Melinda Andreasen and is survived by his daughter and son, Lynne and Brian Andreasen, both of Red Bluff, his father and step-mother Clinton W. and Gladys Jean Andreasen of Yuba City, sister Karyn McFadyen of Red Bluff, several aunts, uncles, cousins, numerous friends, and his beloved Husky/German Shepherd, Max. A mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Red Bluff on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Noon with a memorial following at Sacred Heart Parish Hall on Monroe Street. Donations may be made in memory of Clint to the ALS Association.
